How to run system recovery on Toshiba Satellite

1. Toshiba Recovery for A10, A40, A60 systems
Insert the first recovery CD and restart the notebook.
Hold down the C key and the CD will load to the screen above.
Press 1 to begin the recovery.
You will be warned that all data will be lost. Press 1 to continue or 2 to Cancel.
The recovery image will now be copied. Change the CD when prompted and press Enter.
The process takes approximately 20 minutes. Once complete the user is prompted to remove the CD and press CTRL, ALT and DEL to restart.

2. Toshiba Recovery for L10, L20 systems
Insert the recovery DVD and restart the notebook
When In Touch With Tomorrow TOSHIBA screen is shown press the F12 key
Use the Up or Down cursor keys to select CD-ROM/DVD-ROM from the menu and then press Enter.
The screen below will be displayed.
Press 1 to begin the recovery
You will be warned that all data will be lost. Press 1 to continue or 2 to Cancel:
The recovery image will now be copied The process takes approximately 20 minutes. Once complete the user is prompted to remove the DVD and press CTRL, ALT and DEL to restart:
